Samsung Galaxy S3 Black Screen Data Recovery
If you own a Samsug Galaxy S3 and after dropping it enough times, you’ll notice that the phone powers up, the back and menu lights illuminate but the screen has a black screen and no matter what you do, it won’t turn on.
If after you try all the suggestions below and still you can’t fix the phone
- Remove the battery and hold the power button for 2 minutes, and then put the battery back and turn on the phone, if this doesn’t work, try
- Hold the power, home and volume down, or up to reset the phone
- Tap the power button on the desk a few times? This was the worst suggestion ever
- Then there are software for $59.99 you have to buy to restore your Contacts, Music, Video and Pictures, but that doesn’t work specially if your Android OS is over 4.2 and you can’t authorize the phone since the screen is black and you can’t see or select the option. What a Rip Off!!!
The only program that worked for me and for my client was to download Kies3 for FREE from Samsung’s website, hook up the phone to my PC with a USB cable and opened the program and restored all the data.
